Our process
From inspection to clean space — here's exactly what to expect.
We inspect the attic or crawl space to assess the extent and nature of the contamination or damage, identify the type of insulation, and document conditions before any work begins. We'll tell you honestly whether partial or full removal is warranted.
All surfaces along the pathway from the attic access to the exterior are covered with protective sheeting. Containment protocols are established to prevent contaminated particles from entering your living space during removal.
Insulation is removed using commercial-grade insulation vacuum equipment — the same type of industrial system used across the industry for this work, not a household shop vac. Contaminated material is extracted and contained for safe disposal.
After the bulk insulation is removed, remaining droppings, nesting material, and debris are carefully removed from joists, decking, and other surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
The cleared attic or crawl space is sanitized with EPA-approved antimicrobial and disinfectant treatments — neutralizing bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and the pheromone trails that attract new rodents back to the same space. Deodorization is applied to eliminate lingering odors.
We document the completed work and the condition of the cleared space. The area is ready for new insulation installation and any additional work — air sealing, entry point remediation, or HVAC inspection.
