    West Texas wind and caliche dust

    Lubbock sits on the Llano Estacado, and when the South Plains wind picks up, caliche dust comes with them. It comes in through window seals, into HVAC intake, into duct systems causing debris to accumulate year over year. It works deep into carpet fibers, embeds in tile grout, and loads air duct systems with particulates that circulate through your home every time you run the AC.

    Hard water and mineral buildup

    Lubbock’s water is mineral-heavy. Calcium and limescale deposits accumulate on tile grout, natural stone, shower glass, and concrete surfaces over time. They discolor surfaces causing issues that regular mopping can’t address. Our tile and grout system at 250°F and 1,000 psi removes mineral buildup that household products can’t touch.

    Temperature extremes

    Lubbock winters bring real freeze risk. The 2021 winter storm hit Hub City homes hard causing burst pipes. The storm generated more restoration calls than any single event in our company’s history. When pipes fail, we respond 24/7.

    Texas Tech and the South Plains rental market

    Lubbock is a university town. Move-in and move-out cleans, landlord turnovers, and same-day appointment requests for showings are part of our regular Lubbock workload.

    CARPET TECH is excellent. We have used them for over 8 years. We recently had CARPET TECH clean our Air Ducts and Clean our Carpets. They are little more $ but are superior to all the others. The entire experience was what you hope for, from the phone scheduling to communications to polite professional yet friendly employees. The Technicians were exceptional. They communicated, they arrived when they said they would. Did what they said they would. Both Brandon and Jerid were courteous, professional, friendly, explained what they would be doing, did what they said they would do. Cleaned up. Followed up later to see if we were satisfied or had any questions. I 100% recommend CARPET TECH.
