CT Indoor Air Quality

Cleaner Air. Healthier home.

The air your family breathes indoors passes through your duct system, your dryer vent, your chimney, and every exhaust opening in your home. Most of those systems haven't been professionally cleaned in years — or ever. CT Indoor Air Quality cleans and inspects every system that affects what you breathe, backed by NADCA certification and nearly 30 years of experience in West Texas and beyond.

Why Indoor Air Quality Matters

The air inside your home is often more polluted than the air outside.

The EPA has noted that indoor air can be two to five times more polluted than outdoor air — and sometimes significantly more. Sealed, climate-controlled homes trap contaminants that would otherwise dissipate outside: dust, allergens, pet dander, mold spores, cooking particulate, volatile organic compounds, and more.

Your HVAC system is the primary mechanism for circulating indoor air. If the ducts are dirty, the air stays dirty — redistributed through every room every time the system cycles. Add in a clogged dryer vent that’s pushing hot, moist air back into the laundry room, a chimney with creosote buildup, or bathroom fans venting into attic space instead of outside, and the systems meant to protect your home’s air quality are working against it.

CT Indoor Air Quality addresses all of it — not just the duct system, but every mechanical pathway that affects what your family breathes.
In West Texas, it’s worse. Caliche dust, high winds, and agricultural particulate load duct systems faster than in most other parts of the country. If your home has never had a professional air duct cleaning, it’s overdue — regardless of when you moved in.

Services

Every system that affects your indoor air cleaned and inspected.

The Free Video Inspection

See what's in your ducts before we start.

Before every air duct cleaning, we run a camera through your duct system so you can see exactly what has accumulated — dust levels, debris, mold, pest activity, or damage. You're not asked to trust our assessment. You see it for yourself.

If your ducts are genuinely clean, we'll tell you that and you won't pay for a cleaning you don't need.

The video inspection is included with every air duct cleaning at no additional charge. It's also available as a standalone inspection for homeowners who want to know what they're working with before making a decision.

Residential & Commercial

CT Indoor Air Quality serves homeowners, landlords, property managers, hotels, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and commercial buildings of all sizes. For multi-unit properties and commercial clients, we offer scheduled programs — air duct cleaning on a set cycle, PTAC cleaning programs, commercial dryer vent schedules — and service documentation appropriate for property management and health compliance.

I had a wonderful experience with Carpet Tech! Hunter's Crew came out to spot clean three rugs and a mattress, and they did an excellent job. They were professional, friendly, and worked efficiently while paying close attention to the areas that needed extra care. Everything looked and smelled so much fresher when they were finished. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the care they took with my home. If you're looking for a reliable carpet cleaning company with outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Carpet Tech and Hunter's Crew. I'll definitely use them again!

Quick answers to
common questions.

How do I know if my air ducts need cleaning?
The most reliable way is a professional video inspection — we run a camera through your duct system and show you exactly what’s inside before any work begins. Common signs that cleaning is overdue include allergy or respiratory symptoms that are worse indoors than outside, visible dust blowing from vents when the system kicks on, excessive dust settling on surfaces shortly after cleaning, or a duct system that has never been professionally cleaned regardless of when you moved in.
How often should air ducts be professionally cleaned?
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association recommends every three to five years for most homes. Homes with pets, recent renovation work, allergy sufferers, or smokers benefit from more frequent cleaning. If you’ve never had it done, it’s overdue — no matter how new the home or how recently you moved in.
Is air duct cleaning worth it?
For homes that genuinely need it — yes. Customers who have gone years without a professional cleaning consistently report fewer allergy symptoms indoors, less dust resettling on surfaces between cleanings, and HVAC systems that run more efficiently after the debris load is removed. The free video inspection we provide before every cleaning lets you see what’s in your system before committing to anything.
Can dryer vent cleaning really reduce fire risk?
Yes — lint accumulation in dryer vents is the leading cause of residential dryer fires in the US, accounting for roughly 2,900 fires annually according to the US Fire Administration. Lint builds up gradually over years of use until it restricts airflow enough to overheat. Most people don’t notice the risk — they just notice the dryer taking longer to finish a load. Annual cleaning addresses both the safety risk and the efficiency problem.
What is aerosol duct sealing and how is it different from duct cleaning?
They address different problems. Duct cleaning removes what has accumulated inside your duct system — dust, debris, allergens. Aerosol duct sealing addresses air leaks in the duct system itself — gaps and holes that allow conditioned air to escape into wall cavities and attic space before it reaches the rooms you’re trying to heat or cool. A non-toxic polymer aerosol is injected into the pressurized system and particles collect at leak points, sealing them from the inside out. Most systems achieve a 60 to 90 percent reduction in air leakage in a single session.
