What Happens When You Call
Here's exactly what to expect from the moment you call.
Not voicemail—a Carpet Tech team member who knows restoration and can start helping immediately.
Type of damage, how long it's been present, size of the affected area, whether the source has been stopped. This lets us mobilize the right crew and equipment before we arrive.
If there are safe steps you can take while we're en route — such as moving valuables, turning off the water, or opening windows — we'll walk you through them. We won't ask you to do anything unsafe.
Our team arrives with moisture meters, extraction equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers. We assess the full extent of the damage — including hidden moisture in walls and subfloors that isn't visible.
We don't leave and come back the next day. Work starts on the first visit. The faster extraction and drying begin, the less total damage you end up with.
Throughout the job — often spanning multiple days for drying and assessment — we communicate clearly about what we're finding, what we're doing, and what comes next.

Residential & Commercial
We respond to residential emergencies — the burst pipe at 11pm, the kitchen fire, the flooded living room — and to commercial emergencies that affect businesses, offices, restaurants, retail spaces, and multi-unit properties. For commercial clients, we understand the urgency of getting operations back online quickly and work to minimize the disruption to your business alongside the restoration work.
