Today, we’re happy to introduce Adam Gose, the service manager for our Collin County location! Because of his continued hard work, reliability, and dedication to excellent service in all that he does, Adam was recently named Carpet Tech’s Unsung Hero of 2018! The Unsung Hero award is given annually to an employee at Carpet Tech who exemplifies dedication, selflessness, passion, customer service, and many other qualities that embody the CT Experience. We’re blessed to have Adam on board and could not be more proud of his accomplishments.
We recently sat down with him to learn more about what he loves to do outside of work as well as his favorite parts of working on the Carpet Tech team!
DO YOU HAVE A NICKNAME AT WORK?
A-Bomb, an old nickname from college that was rekindled through CT.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF THE CARPET TECH TEAM?
Since 2013.
WHEN YOU’RE NOT BUSY HELPING PEOPLE IMPROVE THEIR HOMES, WHAT CAN WE FIND YOU DOING?
I like sports and cooking. I’m also a foodie and a car enthusiast.
WHAT YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB WITH CARPET TECH?
That’s easy; building relationships! It’s a true privilege to go inside homes and take care of our customers! When customers ask for me by name it’s rewarding. I’ve been serving our area for six years now, so I’ve seen their kids grow up, graduate HS, and pets go from puppy to adult. It’s a neat experience to watch other families grow and change!
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE WORK STORY?
Being one of the founding members of this branch, I can remember when it all started with one truck and two guys. Being new to the area, we would walk 10 miles in a day, knocking on doors and dropping in on businesses trying to drum up business and get our name out there.
Boom! Flash forward six years and we’re running a mighty fleet with many crews extending to a 45-mile service area! We have added multiple trucks and have expanded our services. Hard work and taking care of folks always pays off!! We are doing this the right way and I’m proud of that!
